What is a Board and Train Program? *
A board and train program is an immersive dog training experience.
Your dog will receive expert dog training care around the clock 24/7. During a board and train program, your dog comes to live with me at my home - not at a facility - and is integrated as a part of my pack.
Living with a professional dog trainer, your dog will learn house manners and real-life skills and receive very close detailed training they won’t be able to receive anywhere else.
We’ll teach behaviors like :
“Sit”: This will help you in situations where you need your dog to stay near you in stimulating environments like parks, and near roads and aids in polite greetings.
“Down” This will help you during socialization sessions, bringing your dog to public spaces like breweries, aids in mental stimulation, and is used for safety in certain situations.
“Come”: Also known as “recall” is one of the most important commands to ensure safety and security. This command will allow your dog to experience freedom and fulfillment in exploring the world safely and will give you peace of mind.
“Place”: One of the most versatile and used commands in dog training, this command helps hyper dogs, provides safety when socializing, and mental stimulation, and has a variety of other use cases.
“Heel": The most desired of dog training commands - this will allow you to have that loose leash walk of your dreams. No more pulling and lunging on walks.
Not only that but we’ll work on any and all problem behaviors like barking, counter surfing, trash diving, digging, potty training, and more that you require help with.
Is a Board and Train Program For Me?
A board and train program is perfect for busy individuals who simply do not have the time to dedicate time every day adding up to several hours per week in total to train their dog.
Maybe you do have the time to train your dog but your dog’s behaviors are way outside of your skill ability. Behaviors like aggressive barking and lunging at people or dogs. Guarding resources. Biting friends and family that come into the home. Behaviors that less than desirable. Those behaviors and more are sometimes better diagnosed and addressed by a professional dog trainer who can work with your dog directly 24/7.
How Will I Know How to Do The Training?
During a Board and Train program, you are sent updates almost every single day of your dog’s progress. These updates are also designed to help educate you as their owner.
The primary difference between a Board and Train program vs Private Sessions is that you don’t need to know all of the nitty gritty tiny details because you won’t be the one to train the dog. The responsibility of step-by-step ‘how to’ lies with your professional dog trainer.
Think of it this way:
You can learn how to build the engine and transmission, how to assemble all of the pieces of the car —OR — you can have someone teach you how to push the accelerator when to use the breaks, and how to get from Point A to Point B effectively.
Not only are you provided education and information throughout the Board and Train program, but you’ll also attend a 1:1 private session part-way through your dog’s Board and Train as well as a Go Home Session at the very end and finally a Follow-Up session a week after your dog returns home.
You will be sent home with hard copy and digital training resources to help you maintain the training that is implemented with your dog. You will also receive access to free follow up sessions, and access to D-Line K9’s Alumni Courses.

Board and Train Program Options

This course will be a 2 week customized program designed to implement basic foundational obedience for your dog. This will include but not limited to loose leash walking, no jumping on guests, and door manners. As well as, sit, down, and place command and introduction to recall. This program will include any leashes, place cots, or other equipment needed to set you and your dog up for success after graduation. 2 Week Foundation Obedience Course cost is $

This course will be a 4 week customized program designed to help you with behaviors you are struggling to overcome such as barking and lunging at people and dogs in public and on walks, snapping or biting friends and family when they come to visit, or if you are looking for advanced obedience such as off leash training, or focused heel. This program will include any leashes, place cots or other equipment needed to set you and your dog up for success after graduation. The 4 Week Behavior Modification + Advanced Obedience program cost is $
How Does a Board and Train Program Work?

Step 1
Complete your FREE consultation where you will choose your program and successfully sign up.

Step 2
Drop your dog off at our “Facility” (AKA Our Home) so you can see where your dog will be staying and training. We will do the training for you and send you updates while your dog is with us.

Complete the Go Home Session and the Follow-Up Session after the training is complete and now live the best life you’ve always dreamed of with your best friend.
